Darlington Council met this day with all members present, Reeve O.M.Garrathers presiding.
jThe tes of the last meeting were read and on motion were adopted as read.
The 'bills were read and on motion were ordered to 'be paid.
Tom er,Jr., asked for a grant to Junior Parmerst woez. 4n motion of A.W.A=L4s an d
W.R.Pickell a grant of $15.00 was made.
F.G.Zerslake presented his report as School Attendance Officer . 0n motion the report
was accepted.
The co=mmications were read,and ordered filed.
John Aldswort-a agreed to dig a ditch in Reeve Oarrathers field to let the water away,
T.H.Richaxds presented his report amd vouchers for October. 0n motion the report was
received and vouchers ordered to be paid.
On motion of R.R.Stevens and W.FPickell the clerk was ordered to notify the Miller,
Geo. Pa comb, that themill-race is not adacfaate to carry the water.
On motion of R.R.Stevens and .G.Paseo;, the road-superintendent was ordered to procure
a deed of land from Byron Parrell.
0n motion of X.R.Pickell and L.C.Pascoe the Council made a grant of $100.00 to the
Bomnanville Hospital.
On motion of R.R.Steve L.C.Pascoe the arrangements for the block in the engine
is to be left in all regwds in the hands of T.H.Richards.
