Bragg fence. They expressed their opinion that it was no res-ponsibility Qh

LvIr. Forbes Heylland. presented a petition signed by forty two (42) ratepayers
asking that the Townishi-p pass a 3y-law to the effect that the municipality wou-Id.
lcollect 1/5th of one mill. of their total assessment from all those whose rimes
appear or. the petition, this money to be collected by the Tax Collector and- kept
in a se-oa2.�ate fund and forwarded to the Treasurer of the Federation of Agricu.JtL e,
On motion this Council agreed to -pass a bar lar;, if uniform L-vr all municipal®
hies, if framed by the Federation of Agriculture in conformation with the infor-
mation laid down by 11r. Heyland-.
Grant was asked for the Central Durham Fair$, and on motion it was decided to
make the usual Grant of $75.00.
11», Will Mountjoy and K. Hepbu--n visited the Council.
On motion of R.R. Stevens and A. Millson, the Clerk see W.R. Strike, re Deed
to zeoad through U.J. "Hountjoy farm, and if satisfactory, to mail Idr. 11dountjoy cheque
at once; the Road Superintendent Ana Arthur Millson to measmae and give Z'W.R.Strike
a description from which he will be able to drag a Deed for road allowance, and
forward the same to IN.-R. Strike. The Clerk to notify M. Hepburn as soon as Deed-
is ready for signature,
-Road Superintendent presented his report and vouchers, which were on motion
accepted, and vouchers ordered to be paid.
