Cc=anication was read from F.E. l�tton re reduction on taxes on account of
fire barn- On motion of R.R. Stevens and. R.K. Squair, the Clerk write
Hutton to the effect that the law does not allow a rebate on taxes for any account,
but that the assessor would in all -orobability lower his assessment dor 19441.
Communication was read from Bowmanville Hospital re Mrs. Pemberthy. On
motion of R.R. Stevens and Art Millson, the M.O.H. and Clerk do what they can to
have her removed to a Home` fear Incurables.
Communication was read from the Secretary of Association of Assessing Officers
of Ontario, asking that our Assessor be enrolled as a member.

The bills were read, and on motion were ordered to be paid.
The Road. Sixperintendent presented his report and Vaachers for May, vThioh were
on motion accepted, and Vouchers ordered to be paid.
On motion of R.R. Stevens and R.E. Squair, the bill of W.J. Martin be turned
over to Insurance Company for adjustment.
