Darlington Council met this.,day with the members all present, Reeve Pick-ell presiding.
The mimutes of the last meeting were read and were adopted as read,
Mr. C.H.Ma.son addressed this Council re: Liability Insurance at a cost of $295.55.
Mr. Nelson Osborne addressed, the Council re: Liability Insurance. Council discussed these
two pollei-es and decided to insure with Nelson Osborne. On motion of S.E.'White and
R.R.Steveri. that Road Liability Insurance be given to Nelson Osborne at $305.55. Carried.
Mr. Josselyn of Toronto, accountant, addressed the Council re: auditing.
Mr, G.A.Barron address d the Council re: fire protection for the village of Hampton.
M. To Chant inquired about snow removal.
On motion of R.R.Stever and R.K.Squair a grant of $10.00 be made to Ploughman s Assoc-
iation.
On motion. of L.C.Pascoe and SE.W`nite this Council rent the fresno scraper and tractor
forthe operating costs.
The Road Superintendent presented his report and vouchers which were on motion accepted and v
vouchers ordered to be paid.
On.notion'cif. S..E: iite and ILE.Stevens this Council change their taking of the Assessment
from Febrczry lst to May 1st, to April lst and Oct. 1st. Carried.
The Council on motion adjourned to meet November lst at one o'clock.
