Hampton, December 6, 1941.
Darlington Council mei this day with the members all present, Reeve W.R.Pickell presiding.
The mimtes of the last meetings were read and on motion were adopted as read.
Some discussions took place regarding the placing of snow fence and cutting brush on the
road sides.
The bills were read and mat motion were ordered ,.o be paid.
The communications were read and on motion were ordered received and filed.
On motion of S.E.W-lite and R.K.Squair the Road Superintendent get some one to dig test
holes in Mrs. Shortt's farm and report at next meeting.
The Road Superintendent presented his report and vouchers for november which ware on m
motion accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid except Jameison Dill.
On motion of R.R.Stevens and S.F.Thite, R.K.Sgpair, the Road Superintendent, and the
Reeve be a committee to approach the Officer Commanding at the Prison Camp to arrange
for passes for certain residents in that vicinity to go through the road by the Camp.
On motion the meeting adjourned to meet December 15th A twelve o'clock Standard Time.
