Darlington Council met this da$ with the members all present, Reeve W.R.Pickell presiding„
The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted.
The communications were react... Mrs. Chas. Presc6bt asked for three pairs of boots a3id
overshoes. On motion of R.R.Stevens and. L,C,Pascoe this be granted and R.R.Stevens
supervise the bu$ing.
The Clerk was instructed to notify fir. Kinister that the Council can not let him have
any more wood until his taxes are paid.
The other communications were ordered to be received and filed.
The Council set the-'r salaries.
On motion of R.K.Squair and S.E.White they be paid $75.00. Carried.
The 'gills were read and on motion were ordered to be paid.
Moved by R.R.Stevens and R.K.Squair that Council get legal advice about resp risibility
in case of fire to road fence.
Moved by R.R.Stevens and S.E.vWhi.te that we spend $200.00 on snow ffnce. It was left
with the road Superintendent to buy at best possible price.
Moved by R.K.Squair and R.R.,Stevens that Clerk and Treasurer be authorioed to pay a
any bills that come in until the end of the year.
Ytcved by R.R.Stevens and S-39;Wiite that we employ Mr. King of Beaton as auditor for
the Township.
Moved by R.F,Sgua.ir and R.R.Stevens that the Financial Report be printed at the
.
Statesman�esmar office Carried.

On motion of R.K.� _ -i:r and L.C.Pascoe the Council adjourned to meet January 12th
1942, at 11 o'clock Standard Time.
