HomeMy WebLinkAbout1942-03-07 HaLCI-06M, March 7th, 19-11 2. Darlington Council met this day wi-th the members all present except Depl-:ty-Reeve tascoe who was absent through Illness. The mimtes of the last meeting were read and on motion were adopted. The bills were read and on motion were ordered to be paid as read. H.C.W.Mills asked the Council to set their rate of -,pay for trucks. Communica.-tions were read and on motion were ordered fy-L v -led. -A, By Law for appointment of auditor was introduced and on motion given its several readings and ordered to be signed,- sealed. and numbered. !.H.Richards presented his -report and vouchers for `'Februaiy which were or. motion acce-oted and vouchers ordered to be paid. On motion the Road estimates were set at $12500.00. On motion the Council p set rates of ay at 300 per hour for labour, team work 500 L' per hour, and $L 15 per hour to be offered to H.C.7-.1ilills for hour work and 400 -per per yard per mile, and 100 per yard for extra mileage. Tractor and Grader man, 400 per hour, grader operator, 350 per hour, Road Super- intendent 400 per hour. Council adjourned to meet April 4th.
