The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted�'-The Clerk'-.was instructed to -write W.E.King to effect that they understood he was to do the audit for $125.00, The bills were read and on motion were ordered to be paid except Ti.E.King. The comnmnications were read and dealt with according to requirements. On motion of R.R.Stevens, and L.C.Pascoethe Council grant the Salvation Army $30,00. The Clerk was instructed to advertise for applications for assessor, applications tq' be in the Clerk's hands by June 6th at 12 otclock noon. On motion of R.R.Stevens and R.K.Sqaair the Council accept Cecil Wound's offer to pay for cal cUm chloride on Ebenezer road- T.H.Richards presented his report and vouchers for April which were on motion accented and vouchers ordered to be paid.
