?ickell presiding.The minutes of the last meeting were read and on motion adopted as read..
On motion of-R.K.Squair and R.R.Stevens,T.H.Richards ,S.E Vrhite and Arthur millsor be a
Committee to interview B.G.Stevens regarding the condition of the timbers in the Clayton
barn,and the cost of moving the same.
On motion of R.K.Squair and R.R.Stevens the Clerk was instructed to write the Officer
Incommand at the Internment Camp,to the effect that we had been to interview the
Ontario hbanici-oal Board regarding the closing of the road through the Interment Camp
and fhat We Could not close this road without compensating those affected by the closing
of such roadsaid that"this Council would not pay compensation to any one unless we had
had a guarantee from the Department of National Defence that we would be reimbursed to
the extent in which we may have to pay,
The bills were read and on motion were ordered to be paid as read. On motion of R.R.

which had been sent to the late L.C.Pascoe to that of Axtlm= Villson.
