Darling-tor. Council -met this day with menfoers all present. Reeve W.R. Pin-I-ell
presiding.
The mi=tes of the last meeting were read and. on motion ad-opted as read.
The clerk reported that J,J'. Mason & Son had insuzed the new shed and contents
and maintainer; $700.00 on building and $700.00 on contents, with $1,000.00 on
the maintainer, premium on buildings and contents, $20.02, and $6.70 on maintainer
on the D. d- C. for -three (3) years, and on the maintainer a yearly premium.
The coumcil agreed to have insurance as follows.—
On maintainer ----- $1,000.00 Yearly Premium.
On Cra7vler 500-00
On building, new 700.00, Contents $500-00
On Town Hall 1,900.00, Contents 1,000.00
On motion of R.R. Stevens and R.K. Squair, the old policies be cancelled and that
there be a separate policy for the maintainer and crawler tractor.
On motion of S.E. Thite and. R.R. Stevens that this Council do agree to sell to
Harbord Metal Co., for $9.00 per ton, that metal which he already has picked up,
provided he cleans up the first heap and pays for it,when completed, and that we
will sell him the balance that is gathered. at $9.00 per ton, -provided it is all
cleaned up and paid for by December 24th.
On motion of R.R. Stevens and R.K. Squair that council be paid $75.00 same as
last year and said X75.00 be equally di-died between Leslie Pascoe Estate and
Arthur Willson. Motion carried.
On motion of R.R. Stevens and R.K. Scuair that Reeve and Treasurer be authorized
to sign annual report.
On motion of R.K. Squair and R.R. Stevens that road superintendent bills be
authorized and -oaid.
On motion of R.K. Squair and S.E. 'White the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to pay
the accounts un to December 31st 1942.
On motion of R.K. Scauair and L Millson, this Council do not rent the tractor.
The bills were read, and on motion were ordered to be paid as read.
On motion of S.E. White and. Amthur Millson, this council procure 3000 feet of
snow fence.
On motion of 'R.K. Squair and. R.R. Stevens, nomination day be December 28th, and if
election is necessary, the day of Polling shall be January 4t?, 1943, and that
notices be printed and posted regarding the same.
