"he in-aug-aral meeting of Darlington Council was held this day. Councillors
White and Squair 'being absent.
Reverend Walter Rackham delivered a fine message. On Motion of RR. Stevens
and A. Millson, Mr. Ra lc was tendered a hearty vote of thanks for his part
in the opening, ceremony.
The Council adjourned for lunch.
The minutes of the last meeting were read, and on motion were adopted,
On motion of R.R. Stevens and A. Millson, Sydney Trewin be given assistance in
procuring Insulin.
On Motion of R.R. Stevens and A. Millson, Clerk is authorized to get a settle-
ment on all scrap that has been taken away and get a deposit on an estimated
value of the balance.
The bills were read and on motion were ordered to be -oaid.
On motion of R.R. Stevens and A. Millson, the Clerk order seven (7) co-oies of
manicipal World.

for one month.
By-laws for appointing School attendance officers, Weed Inspector, and Local
Board of Health were introduced and given their several readings, in order to
be signed, sealed and Yrambered.
T.H. Richaxds presented his report and. Vouchers to December 31st, 1942, which
were on motlion accepted, and vouchers ordered to be paid.
On motion of R.R. Stevens and A. Millson, the Clerk be authorized to write those
in arrears with the Do- Tax and demand that they pay at once.
