Darlington council met this dc%.-,r with the members all present.Reeve Pichell residing.
Me minutes oil the last meeting were read. and on motion were adopted as read.p
Dan Kube made complaint that a neighbour was daming, water on his land,and also re; lire
fences.The council took no action regarding the water but advised him to call the fence
viewers regarding the line fences.
John Inc` eravisited the council regarding the crashing of gravel. As the
tenddrs were not all in the Clerks hands, the Council decided to leave it, o-,7.er to

Communication from the Department of Agriculture was read, regarding appointm ent
of a man in each School Section to co-operate in an all out war i
effort.L n the man

Secretaxy ask the Mirdster to announce a period set for the collection of clothing
for Russia. It was also decided to have the school teachers announce a -oeriod
of collection.
A communication from the Salavation Army ,vas read. On motion they were
gLven a grant of $75.00.
The bills were read, and- on motion approved were ordered to be paid.
