A special meeting of the Darlington Township Council was held in the
Township Hall on the above date. Reeve Nichols presiding, present were Councillors
Trull, Thompson and Smith.
Res. A Moved by Councillor Fred Snaith,
Seconded by Councillor A.E.Thompson.
That this Council erect a building to house the Township Offices
and other accommodation, the Township to purchase all material, and that
Chas. Warren be engaged to build said building and that he be paid
the cost of the labour plus 10 % and in addition, that he be paid
5 % of the total cost of all materials used in the building.
