Darlington Township Council met in the Township Hall, on the above date ,
all Members present with the exception of Councillor Trull, Reeve Nichols presiding.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and on motion of Counc.
Smith and Councillor Thompson, were accepted as read.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that the General accounts to
the amount of $ 8623.26 be paid as presented.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard. and Councillor Thompson th*t the Road
accounts to the amount of $ 6843.69 be paid as presented.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and �;ouncillor Smith that the Punning
Board be asked to reconsider application of frontage charge on Knister lot.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Council instruct Road
Supt. not to approve application of Bell Telephone Co. to relocate poles in
Con. 1, Lots 28-29, unless poles are set 3 feet from fence and that full consideration
be given to 66 ft. road allowance, and that these ebnstructions apply to all
future applications by Hydro and 'bell Telephone Companies.
Moved by Councillors Smith and Thompson that the offer of Wm. Nemisz
of $200.00 for Township lot in Lot 30, Con. 3, be accepted.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Thompson that Council
meet with Mr. Marston and East 'Whitby Council to settle Town Line agreement.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Welfare Officer be au-
thorized to issue cheque for $55.00 for direct relief to Mrs. Fraser.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that this Council agree to
purchase a Municipal License for Darlington Township Fire Brigade No. 1 Truck
and to insure same under Township's Equipment Policy.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Thompson that Clerk have
copies of Rules �% Regulations printed
