Darlington Township Council met on the above date, in the Township
Hall, Hampton, with Members all present, Reeve Nichols presiding.
5822 A Moved by Councillors Trull anu Smith that the minutes of last meeting
be accepted as read.
W.G.Bottrell appeared re sheep damage.
5823 A Moved by Councillors Smith and Thompson that license under By-law No.
2024 be issued to E. Knapp, Lot 13, Con. 3.
582L_ A Moved by Councillor Thompson and Deputy Reeve Rickard that approval
be given School Board of S.S.No. 10, to erect a one-room School in that Section.
r,8�5 Moved by Councillors Smith and Trull that A.H. Strike and the Municipal
Planning Consultants Ltd., be appointed to represent the Township at the Municipal
'-oard Hearing in Hampton on February 7, 1958•
X82 Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that this Council request
the Minister of Planning and Development to call a meeting to consider the
establishing of a Conservation Authority on Lynde Creek, Oshawa Creek and Bovmanville
Creek, including all the streams flowing into Lake Ontario from the east Boundary
of Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority on the y'iest, to the East
boundary of Bovimanville Oreek and its tributary Soper Creek in the Fast.

Ranting of Lake Ontario Development Association be asked to attend March meeting
of Council.
582.5 B Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Trull that Councillors
Smith and Thompson be a committee to deal with the Warble Fly Control program and
Weed Control.
5826 C Moved by Councillor Trull and Depute Reeve Rickard that Development
Road and Road Accounts in the amount of "9774-305be passed as presented.
5826 D Moved by Councillors 'Thompson and Smith that General accounts be
passed for payment with the exception of ju 20.00 Bothell account and $500.00 Meadows
account. .Amount � 17265.89.
58�7 Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Thompson that $2000.00
be granted to Bowmanville Hospital for 1958, and that :1000.00 be paid in June,
and the balance in December.
5827 A Moved by Councillor Thompson and Deputy Reeve Rickard that Rule 33
be suspended for the balance of this meeting.
58�7 B Moved by Councillors Smith and Trull that avir. Hogarth inspect a
structure at North end of Varcoe' s Road at once.
5828 Moved by Councillors Thompson and Trull that the Road Supt. be
instructed to level the ground at Zion Community Park as soon as conditions permit.
5829 Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Road Supt. be authorized
to purchase a spreader at a cost of approximately : 200.00.
5830 Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Tender of Holman_
Construction Co. to crush gravel at .53 per cuyd. be accepted as per Tender.
