Darlinaton Township Council met in the Council Chambers on the above
date, all }embers present, Reeve Nichols presiding.
„loved by Councillors Trull and Thompson that the minutes of previous
meeting be adopted as read.
inspector Stringer and Sgt. Clarke off' the Ontario Provincial Police
at ended the meeting and discussed with Council, the policing of the Tavrnship.
Clerk was instructed to write to the Attorney-General of Ontario
asking if a contract with Ontario Provincial Police could be arranged, and what the
financial and. other arrangements would be, also to suggest another discussion with
Council at the February 1959 meeting, It was recommended that at least a Corporal
and f i've men would be required.

amount of " 5500.88 be passed, as presented.
I'doved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Smith that Road accoants
in the amount of 11457.L_i%be passed as presented.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Council car-not approve
of Mr. Dennis Shuttleworth' s proposal to move Reynolds building to another lot for
use as a dwelling.
1, oved by Councillors Smith and Thompson that Clerk be authorized to
sign a renewal certificate with General Accident Co. in regard to Policy 17877.
loved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Reeve and Clerk be au-
thorized to sign agreement with Spartan Air services for aerial mapping of a pDrItion
of the Township, total cost to be not over =:2050.00
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Smith that Reeve and
Clerk be given authority to sell old Township Hall to G.:1I.Robinson for : 200.00
and to execute an agreement for removal of same.
Moved by Councillor Trull and Smith that Clerk write to Department
of Highways requesting that the Base LineRoad be taken over as a development road,
and that coc_ ies be sent to Mr. Foote and i:. Gorrie.
moved by Councillors Smith and Thomppon that the Clerk and Township
Solicitor be instructed to take action under the appropiate By-laws of the Township
against Courtice and Hartwig, of Lot 29, Con. 2, Darlington.
11oved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Thompson that 21embers of
:his Council now form a Count of Revision.

On motion Council re-convened with Deputy Reeve Rickard in the Chair,
and adjourned to Tuesday November 119 at 8.P.i71.
