Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Council Chambers
on the above date,all Members present with the exception of Councillor Thompson,
Reeve Nichols presiding.
Moved by Councillors Trull and Smith that the minutes of previous
meting be adopted as read.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Trull that the
application of Norman J. Metcalfe re Tile Drainage, be tentatively approved,
subject to the approval of the Treasurer of Ontario.
Moved by Councillors Smith and Trull that the Road Accounts in the
amount of A 2603.90�be paid as presented.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Trull that the
General Accounts in the amount of $159,594.33 be paid as presented.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Smith that Clare Allin
be appointed as Member from Darlington to the Durham District High School Board
5if or a three (3) year ar term.
Moved by Councillors Trull and Smith that the Clerk be instructed
to write the County Clerk questioning the number of votes for County purposes
in certain Municipalities.
Moved by Councillors Smith and Trull that Members of Council receive
same salary as in 1957.

Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Trull that Reeve and
and Clerk be authorized to pay any accounts which cannot be delayed to January
meeting.
Moved by Gmuncillors Smith and Trull that Lloyd Quinton be paid
-5G.--per claim for checking fox bounty.
On motion meeting adjourned.
