HAAETON, December 29, 1958.
A Special meeting of Council and Planning Board was held in the Council
Chambers on the above date. Present were Reeve Nichols,Deputy Reeve Rickard, Councillors
Thompson, Trull and Smith, Messrs. Wyman, McGill and Osborne of the Planning Board,
and 1fr% Little.
:Moved by Councillors Trull and Thompson that the Courtice Community be
amended to include an area to the South, bounded on the east by a line 200 feet east
of and parallel to Hancock Road, on the South by a line 200 feet south of and
parallel to the second line, on the West by the Town Line, and on the North by the
presently zoned Courtice Community, this area to be Zoned it-, with the exception of
200 feet on either side of Hancock Road, which is to be zoned R2, also excepting the
property of Oshawa Mood rroducts, which is to be zoned Q1. CAPRIED.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Trull that the North half of Lot 35 in
Concession 4, plus 200 feet to the east and 200 feet to the north, be zoned
Suburban Rl and green belt. Carried.
Moved by Councillors,Thompson and Smith that Municipal Planning
Consultants be instructed to obtain prices on mapping the additional Courtice Area,
and that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to accept a contract for the work, if not
over "1000.00. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Thompson that the minimum gtound floor area for
s
restricted uses in an agricultural zone be increased from 1350 to 1500 quare feet
for one storey plus the necessary changes for storey and one-half and two storey
buildings, and that the minimum lot area be 2 acres, with a minimum 23dnau= frontage
of 200 feet.
This motion was not seconded.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
