Darlington Township Council met in the Council Chambers on the above
date, with all Members present, Reeve Nichols presiding.
5922 _, Moved by Councillors Thompson and Trull that the minutes of two
previous meetings be approved as read.
5923 Moved by Dep. Reeve Rickard and Councillor Trull that gages of truck
i drivers be from $1.45 to X1.50 per hour according to experience and that hired trzieks
be paid $7.00 per hr. for 10 yard trucks, and 1 3.50 per hour for 5 yd. trucks.
5924 Moved by Councillors Trull and Thompson that Addo-X Machine at present
t in our office be purchased.
5925b � Moved by Councillor Thompson and Dep. Reeve Rickard that General
` accounts in the amount of V116375.20 be passed for payment.
5926 Moved by Councillors Trull and Smith that Road accounts in the amount
` ' « of $18517.L�_2 be passed for payment.
5927 Moved by Dep. Reeve Rickard and Councillor Trull that the Reeve and
Clerk be, and are hereby authorized to enter into agreement on behalf of the Township
to purchase a :L ft, right of way from Temperance St. to Ormiston St. in the
Ormiston Plan, Hampton, f or(51.00 ) One Dollar.
By-Lam 2110 As per motion attached, a By-law to adopt the Official Plan for the
5928-9-30 Township of Darlington was given its several readings and ordered signed, sealed and
numbered 2110.
By-LBy-Lwa 2111 As per motions attached, a By-law to regulate the use of land, and the
5931-2-3 character, location and use of buildings and structures, was given its several
readings and ordered signed, sealed and numbered 2111.
5934_ Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that the Reeve and Clerk be
<`= hereby instructed to sign seven copies of Zoning By-law 2111 and the three linens
attached as Schedule "A" .
5935r Moved by Dep. Reeve Rickard and Councillor Smith that Municipal

Planning Consultants be and are hereby IQWMDTM instructed to submit this Township' s
By-law 2111 to the Ontario Municipal Board for approval.
5936 Moved by Dep. Reeve Rickard and Councillor Thompson that Municipal
�`k .3 Planning Consultants be, and are hereby authorized to have 5000 copies of Zoning
By-law No. 2111 printed at a cost of approximately 5675.00.
By-law 2112 As per motion attached, a By-law to provide for the licensing and
5937-8-9 registration of dogs, and for the regulating the running at large of animals, was
given its several readings and ordered signed, sealed, and numbered 2112.
Reeve appointed Councillors Thompson and Smith a committee with power
to act to arrange financial and other details relating to the enforcement 6&- the
Dog Control By-law.
Reeve appointed Dep. Reeve Rickard and Councillor Trull with Clerk
as a committee to call on Representatives of the Attorney General' s Dept. re
proposed Township Police Force. Clerk to arrange an interview on Feb. 23,24 or 25.
Clerk was instructed to reply to Cassels, Defries and Des Brisay to the effect that
Boundary road allowance east of Lot 1, Con. 6, is not for sale.
594.0 Moved by Councillors Smith and Thompson that this Council recommend
to the Minister of Planning and Development that that portion of Darlington Township
in the i3roken Front and First Concessions not presently included in the Central Lake
Ontario Conservation Authority be included in same.
591-1 Moved by Councillors Smith and Trull that application be made for approval

of an expenditure of 52500.00 under the Municipal Winter Works Incentive rogramme.
