Darlington Township Council met in the Council Chambers on the above
date. All members present, Reeve Nichols presiding.
Moved by Councillors Trull and Smith that minutes of two previous
meetings be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillors Smith and Trull that General Accounts in th e
amount of $9,687.76 be paid as presented.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Road Accounts in the
amount of $41,448.52 be paid as presented®
Representatives of the Darlington Ratepayers Association attended the
meeting, and introduced the matter of Road Signs on Highway No. 2; J. W. Watson
-- Plan of Sub-division, and road work on Bowmanville - Darlington Boundary

Moved by Councillors Smith and Thompson that Counties' Council be
requested to erect stop signs on the Manvers Road.
Moved by Councillors Rickard and Thompson that Rule 33 be suspended
for the duration of this meeting.
On motion as attached, a By-law to close part of Lynwood Avenue,
was given its several readings and ordered signed, sealed, and numbered 2128
On Motion as attached, a Hay-law to provide for, the sale of that
part of Lynwood Avenue closed by By-lave 21286 was given its several readings
sand ordered signed, sealed, and numbered 2129. s
On motion as attached, a by-law to provide for the Supplementary
Expenditure of $20,000.00 on Township Roads, was given its several readings
and ordered signed, sealed, and numbered 21JO. � / I
On motion as attached, a Hy-law to provide for the issue and sale
of Debentures in the amount of $22,000.00, was given its several readings
and ordered signed, sealed, and numbered 2131.

Moved by Councillors Rickard and Thompson that the tender of J. L.
Graham and Co. to purchase 6:V. Township of Darlington Debentures, in the.. amount
of $22,000.00, at the price of 9$.60 cents on the Dollar, was accepted.
Moved by Councillors Trull and Thompson-that this meeting adjourn to
the call of the Reeve.
