A special meeting of Darlington Township Council was held in
the Municipal Buildings on the above date, present were Reeve Nichols,
Councillors Thompson and Smith.
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that Mary L. Niddery be,
and is hereby authorized to sign cheques and all other documents for the
Treasurer of the Township of Darlington during the month of September 1959®
Moved by Councillors Thompson and Smith that the motions passed
on July 30, 1959, authorizing the issue of debentures for High School purposes
and authorizing the Durham District High School Board to engage architects
and prepare plans for same, be, and are hereby rescinded, and tka t the Board
be advised that this Council will consider favourably a proposal to build
a 7^0 pupil school in Darlington and 150 pupil school in Millbrook®
0n motion the meeting adjourned to the call of the Peeve®
