Darlington TosEnship Council met in the N=icipal Building on
this date with all members present, Reeve Rickard presiding.
62-1C-1 Moved by Councillors Smith and .Zuir that the matter of relief
frog, assessment on Southview Golf & Curling Club be referred to the
Assessor, the Counties Assessor and the Township Solicitor -and the
By-lav,s Committee for report.
62-1C-2 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that the matter of
obtaining temporary office assistance for the Road Supt. be referred
to the Road Committee with mower to act.
62-1C-3 Moved by Councillor Cornish and Deputy Peeve Blanchard that a
letter be circulated to all public school boards and coim�ranity hall
boards informing them that a meeting of all boards Tarith council and
other officials is planned and asking them to forward any suggestions
for c'iscussion topics, and that the arrangements as to time and place
be left to the by-laws committee.
62-1C- 14 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Smith that
council offer Campbell Est. $2,000.00 :for the property in lot 3, Con. 7
for road widening, and that the Clerk be authorized to forward_ this
offer to the representatives of Campbell Estate.
62-1C-5 Moved by Councillors Smith and Cornish that the office in
the Township garage be lined, painted and insulated, and that the
Road Committee be authorized to have this work done.
62-1C-6 Moved by Councillors Smith and Cornish that this meeting
adjourn to the call of the Reeve.
Reeve Ric'4Lar6 called the meeting to order at ': 30 p.m.
62-1C-7 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Cornish that
correspondence from the Department of Lands and Forests, following the
interview with M'r. Haas of that department, be referred to the Public
Property and Agriculture Co=ittee for report, when received.
62-10-8 Loved by Councillor Muir and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that the
clerk be authorized to engage a surveyor to prepare description of
property to be a.ccuired for road widening in lot 29, B.F. , when
boundary has been marked.
62-1C-9 Moved by Councillors Iduir and Cornish that this meeting
adjourn.
