Darlington Township Council met in special session on this date, all members present, Reeve Rickard presiding. 62-3C-1 Moved by Councillors Smith and Muir that the Township Solicitor be instructed to proceed to prepare a By-law to :provide for the expropriation of the properties required for the improvement of Courtice Road from Base :eine to Highway Q01. 62-3C-2 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Smith that representatives of the Campbell Estate be offered 92,000.00!for the property in lot 3, Con. 7, with possession of the buildings until July 1, 1962 for the sole purpose of removing same from the property. 62-3C-3 Koved by Councilloy Muir and Cornish that the tender of Gar-Jon Construction Company for the construction of a. concrete culvert, Contract 62-1C, be accepted as submitted, subject to the bidder furnishing a 100% performance bond within ten days of the delivery of this letter, and to the approval of the Ontario Department of Highways. 62-3C-4 Moved by Councillors Smith and Cornish that this meeting adjourn to Monday,ay, March 26th, at 1: 30 p.m. . . . . . . Warren be hired to build a. passage to toilets through Clerk' s office also cupboards in Clerks office. 62-3E-5 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Smith that this meeting adjourn to the call of the Reeve.
