Darlington Township Council re-convened at 8: 20 p.m. on this date, all members present, Reeve Rickard presiding. 62-5B-1 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that the Imperial Tobacco Co. be granted permission to erect directional signs on the route through Darlington Township to Mosport, the signs to be erected and removed between June 6th and June 13th, 1962. 62-5B-2 Moved by Councillor Muir and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that Russell Stewart be asked to extend his contract for gravel crushing with the Town of Bowmanville to include approximately 8000 gds for this Township, to be crushed in two locations in the Township, subject to the approval of the Ontario Department of Highways. 62-5B-3 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that the Road Committee and Foreman investigate the Hoskin, Kovac & Rowe gravel pits. 62-5B-4 Moved by Councillors Smith and Muir that permission be given to the Davey Tree Co. to remove four trees from the unopened part of the road allowance between lots 26 and. 27 in Concession 4, on condition that no open holes be left on the property. 62-5B-5 Moved by Councillor Muir and Deputy Reeve Blanchard. that a "not a through road" sign be placed at the intersection of the road between lots 2 and 3 and the fourth line to warn traffic from the east. 62-5B-6 Moved by Councillors Muir and Smith that no award be made on the tender call for supply of a power loader on March 26th, 1962. 62-5B-7 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Muir that tenders be called for supply of a gasoline powered, 4 wheel drive power loader, minimum. Horsepower 85, with other specifications as in the previous tender call. 62-5B-8 Moved by Councillors Smith and Cornish that the price of used glass from the office partitions be set at $3.00 per large sheet. 62-5B-9 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that this meeting adjourn to Friday, May 11th, at 8:00 p.m. e� Reeve Clerk
