Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on this
date, all Members present, Reeve Rickard presiding.
62-5C-1 Moved by Councillor Smith and Councillor Muir that the offer
of Dickson Equipment to rent Trojan Loader at $ 610.00 per month as
in their letter of May 10, 1962, be accepted.
62-5C-2 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Cornish that
Campbell Estate be ingormed that the Township will buy the Campbell
property at__'S 2000.00; the owners to have anything they wish to take
from the property until July 1, 1962, taxes to be paid by Campbells
to July 1, 1962, and the Township to bear the cost of conveyancing.
Moved by Councillor Cornish and Councillor Muir that Rule 3
be suspended for the duration of this meeting.
62-5C-3, l�&5f. On motions as filed, a By
to further amend By-law 2111
by re-zoning part of Lot 6, Con. 2, (Marti) , was given its several
readings and signed, sealed and numbered 221 ..
62-5C-6,7&8. On motions as filed,a By-law to further amend By-law 2111
by re-zoning part of Lot 13, Con. 3, (Simpson) was given its several
readings and signed,sealed and numbered 2215.
62-5C-9 Moved by Councillor Muir and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that
Ralph Simpson be advised that he is required to pay the costs of re-
zoning.
62-5C-10 Moved by Councillor Smith and Councillor Cornish = By-law
2216 re rezoning part of Lot 17, Con. 5 (Smith & White) was given its
First Reading and referred to Committee.
62-5C-11 Moved by Councillor CorniLsh and Councillor Smith, that, due
to the Health Unit Report, this Council does not approve the Pollard
Plan and that Mr. Pollard be so informed.
The motion was declared lost.
62-5C-12 Moved by Councillor Smith and Councillor Muir that Resolution
62-5B-15 be rescinded and that the next meeting be held on
Thursday, May 17th. , at 1.30 P.M.
62-5C-13 Moved by Councillor Smith and Councillor Cornish that this
meeting adjourn.
