Reeve Rickard presiding. 62-$D-1 Moved by Councillors Smith and Cornish that the Public property committee be authorized to place a, Targe sign at the Preston Rd. garbage dump, and at the Tyrone Dump, to' advise the public of the regulations that apply. 62-8D-2 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Muir that, commencing October lst, 1962 the Preston Road garbage dump will be open to the public on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 12: 00 noon, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 62-8D-3 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that the following regulations shall apply to the Preston Rd. Garbage Dump; picking and burning are prohibited except by the caretaker or on his authority, shooting, dumping of dead aninm is and trespassing are prohibited, also the d-sposal of material from septic tanks is prohibited unless on authority of the caretaker. 62-8D-4 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Muir that the property committee be authorized to have a building placed on the Preston Road Dump property. 62-8D-5 Moved by Councillor Smith and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that Albert Crawford be paid the sum of one dollar per annum for his services as caretaker of the Township Dump. 62-8D-6 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that the Road Committee and Road Supt. meet with Mr. C. Woodley to try to rectify his problem. 62-8D-7 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that the Clerk be authorized to advertise regulations regarding the Township Dump in both Oshawa and Bowmanville papers. 62-8D-8 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Muir that rule 33 be suspended for the duration of this mee ting. 62-$D-9,10 On motions as filed a By-law to appoint a caretaker for the Township Dump was given its second and third reading and signed, sealed and numbered 2221. 62-8D-11 Moved by Councillors Muir and Smith that an agreement with Elmer Pollard be prepared whereby Pollard would be required to deposit a sum of money with the Township sufficient to construct the road fronting lot 16, plan 632, and to cover other expenses, subject to the approval of the Road Supt. , and of Mr. Pollard. 62-$D-12 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Cornish that the meeting adjourn.
