Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this date, all members present, Reeve Rickard presiding.
62:-118-1 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Muir that the minutes of the
meeting held November lst and November Oth be adopted as read.
62-11B-2 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Muir that the Clerk be
instructed to contact oianers of residences in the Cl zone on the south
side of Highway No. 2 in Lot 35, Concession 2, to see if they wish to
have the remainder of their property zoned Cl, and that they be requested
to re-ply immediately in writing.
62-11.E-3 Moved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and CouncillorKluir that,
further to Res. 62-11-9, passed November lst., 1962, the total amount
approved for payment be increased by $385.70, (Roads Voucher). to
010p816. 61+.
62-11B-4 Moved by Councillor I'Auir and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that
tenders for the construction of the Marti Bridge be received and opened.

tender of E. F. -I'darston'Construction Limited for construction of the Marti
Bridge., be accepted as tendered subject to the approval of the Townshipts
Bridge Consultant, and of the Ontario Department of Highways.'
62-1113-6 Moved. by Councillor Muir and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that the

Road Supt. be authorized to hire tree trimmers for ng roadside
trees if found necess=ary.
62-11B-7 Ploved by Councillor liluir and, Deputy Reeve Blanchard that this
Council adjourn for 15 minutes.

instructed to write to J . D. Ifloorehouse, Counties Engineer., assuring him
that it is the intention of this Council to close the road between lots
16 and 17 in Concession 8,, south of the new county road .
62-11B-8-A- Moved by Councillors Smith and Muir that a letter from Honey,
Brooks arid. Harrison re Verleysen be referred to the Toimship Solicitor
for report, and that the Road Supt. be asked to furnish information for
the Solicitor.
62-11B-9 Moved by Councillors Cornish and Smith that the Clerk be
instructed to notify Humphreys, Boychin and Hillman that By-law 2111.,
Sec. 6 (b) does not permit the use of the Lieffers building at present.
62-11B-10 Moved by Councillors Muir and Smith that the Finance Committee
study the report of Planning Board costs presented to this meeting,
and if it meets with the Clomr,-.,itteels approval that copies be made
available for distribution.

charged to miscellaneous expenditures, be received and filed and. that
co-,oies, be made available for distribution.
62-11B-12. Moved by Councillor Cornish and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that
the Reeve and Treasurer be authorized to issue cheques as presented in
the amount of $341.19
62-11B-13 Moved by Councillors Smith and Cornish that the Clerk further
investigate the Enniskillen Street Lighting pro-Dosal, and that Mr.
Dorland be given the information gathered. to-date.
o2-11J:5-114 Moved by Councillors Smith and Muir that Council have a
building erected on the Township Dump.
62-111B-15 14-oved by Deputy Reeve Blanchard and Councillor Muir that Geo.
Totten be appointed as the Township' s Consulting Engineer for the Base
Line Developement Road project, and that the Ontario Department of
Highways be asked to approve the Toi%rnshi-ol s proposal to have Mr. Totten
do the pre-engineering work on the project.
62-11B-16 Moved by Councillor Muir and Deputy Reeve Blanchard that the
Road Supt. be authorized to have tests made of gravel pits, and to engage
such equipment and assistance as In-e requires.
