Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on this date with all members present, Reeve Blanchardpresiding. 63-2B-1 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Counciilor Gibbs that the minutes of the meeting of February 7th be adopted as read. 63-2B-2 Moved by Councillors Budai and Gibbs that tenders for supply of fuel be opened at this time. Products Co. 33.1 37. 6 15.1 63-2B-3 Moved by Councillor Down and Deputy Reeve Muir that tenders for supp17T of fuel be examined by the Clerk and Road Supt. for report to next meeting. 63-2B-4 Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Muir that tenders for supply of a. truck and snow plow submitted on February 7th, 1963 bq R. W. Nichols and Peterborough-y,.T site Co. , be eliminated from consideration, as those tenders do not meet specifications as to minimum requirement for cubic inches of piston displacement, and that the tender of Bramley Motors with Sumner snow plow also submitted as above be eliminated from consideration as the p1o�; is less in weight than the minimum required in the specification. 63-2B-5 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that the tender submitted. by Cowan Equipment Co. for supply of a truce with snow plow and wing be be accepted as tendered, subject to the approval of the Ontario Department of Highways. 63-2B-6 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that Stephen Jeffery be granted permission to sell to the Town. of Bo.wTmanville approximately 5000 yds of gravel from the pit presently covered by an agreement with this Township. 63-2B-7 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the Road Superintendent be, and is hereby authorized to purchase the Township' s annual requirements of calcium chloride, guide rail cable, culverts, and fence posts. 63-2B-8 Moved by Deputy Reeve I,luir and Councillor Down that the Reeve and Treasurer be and are hereby authorized to issue checues as follows: Ontario Municipal Board $61.00 Township of Darlington (Petty Cash) $66-.12-, Ontario Hydro $24.03\,Onta.rio Hydro $L+6.17-, 63-2B-9 Moved by Councillors Dorm and Budai that that part of lot 22, Concession 21 Darlington formerly known as the Harnden .Estate, now divided between Charles Ellis and Joseph and. Carl Schwarz be divided ps t?5 ssessnent for 1963 taxes as follows: to Joseph a. Council resumed at 4: 30, Reeve Blanchard in the chair. 63-2B-12 ?roved by Councillors Down and Gibbs that the Clerk reply to a letter from Geo Moore to the effect that the Council finds it impossible to snow plow driveways. 63-2B-13 Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that the Clerk be authorized to purchase one copy of Ross on Local Government at $6.25. 63-23-14 Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that correspondence from the Department of Lands and Forests re management of Darlington Forest be referred to the Public Property Committee for study. 63-2B-15 Moved by Councillors Budai and Gibbs that correspondence not otherwise dealt with be received and filed. PAGE N0 2 I 63-2B-16 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Budai that rule 33 be suspended for the duration of this meeting. 63-2B-17118 & 19 On motions as filed, a By-law to authorize Amendment No 2 to the Official Plan for Darlington Planning Area was given its several readings and signed, sealed and numbered 2133. 63-2B-20 & 21 On motions as filed a By-law to authorize the issue of debentures for public school purposes in the amount of $61,000.00 was given its first and second reading and ordered forwarded to the Ontario 14uni.cipal Board for approval. j 63-2B-22 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that the Clerk be authorized to order 27 - 15 lb bags of Warble Fly Powder from W.
