Hampton, June 6th, 1963;
Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this date, all members present, Reeve Blanchard presiding.
63-6-1 Moved_ by Councillors Budai and Down that the minutes of the
meeting held May 16th, 1963 be adopted as read.
63-6-2 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that Mr.
Edmondstonees request on behalf of Alan Taylor be referred to the
Township Solicitor, the Road Supt. and the Tov-rnshipt s Consulting
Engineer, for report.
63-6-3 1-loved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Muir that the Clerk
contact Mr. Haas, Lands & Forests, re inspection of the Toimshipl s forest,
and plans for forest m.a.nagement.
63-6-/`, Moved by Councillors Down and Gibbs that the By-lavas Committee
be instructed to study the Village of P ick- eringl s Dog Control By-lavr,
and report to next meeting.

63-6-7 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that Council
now adjourn to the call of the chair.
Council resumed at 4.: 25 p.m.
63-6-8 Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that rule 33
be suspended for the duration of this meeting.
63-6-9,10,11 On motions as filed a By-law to further amend By-law 2111, as
amended was given its several readings and signed, sealed and numbered 2245
63-6-12 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the road
Superintendent be authorized to accept the proposal of Ontario Hydro
to re-locate poles at an estimated cost of X14.0.00, as outlined in a
Hydro letter dated May 24th, 1963.
63-6-13 Moved by Councillor Gibbs and. Deputy Reeve Muir that the Road
Superintendent be authorized to purchase a welder at an estimated cost of
X181.05.
63-6-14 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the Road
Superintendent be authorized to order necessary spray material from. S.
Morton and W. R. Greenaway.
63-6-15 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the Road.
Superintendent be authorized to purchase and erect signs readings
?'Unopened road allowance, use at your own riskll , in such Quantities as he
deems advisable.
63-6-16 Moved by Councillors Budai and Dov.Tn that the Clerk contact the
Daily Star re supply and repair of road signs.
63-6-17 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Bud-ai that during the months of
June, July and August a meeting of this Council be held on the third
Thursday of the month at 7: 30 v.m.
63-6-18 Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve 141uir that this
Council agrees with, and supports the opinion expressed by the Township' s
Solicitor in the case of fir. Anderson, Lot 35, Concession 5.
63-6-19 Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that Garnet B.
Rickard and `,'alter Parrinder be appointed to the Darlington Industrial
Committee.
