Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this date, Reeve Blanchard presiding, Deputy Reeve Muir, Councillors
Gibbs and Down present, Councillor Budai absent in order to attend the
annual Convention of Urban-Rural Munici-oalities.
63-10C-1 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that the minutes of the
meetings held October 3rd and October 11th, 1963, be adopted as read.
63-10C-2 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that Mr. T. M.
Rundle, Solicitor for the Motor City Car Club, be advised to submit a
presentation on behalf of his client to Mr. Strike, Solicitor for the
Township, to be presented to Council when prepared.
63-10C-3 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Down that accounts for

63-I0C-4 Moved by Deputy-Reeve Muir and Councillor Down that Mr. Yanch, s
proposal for closing the road between lots 14 and 15 in Concession 5, on
behalf of J . Van Herwerden be given tentative approval by this Council
and that Mr. Yanch be advised to contact the Townshipts Solicitor to
arrange the details of the transaction.
63-10C-5 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the Reeve
and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an undertaking between this
Township and Frank McLellan in accordance with the terms of sale of land
by McLellan to the To�mship for the purpose of acquiring lands for
construction of King Bridge.
63-10C-6 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that this Council petition
the Ontario Department of Highways for payment of Interim Subsidy for the
period from January lst, 1963 to August 31st, 1963.
63-10C-7 Moved by Councillors Down and Gibbs that Council adjourn to the
call of the chair.
Council re-convened at 4: 30 p.m.
63-10C-8 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that this
meeting adjourn.
