Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building, Hampton, on this date, all members present, Reeve Blanchard presiding. 63-11B-1 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that the minutes of the meeting held November 7th, 1863 be adopted as read. 63-11B-2 Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that tentative approval be, and is hereby given to the proposal of the South Darlington Township School Area. Board, to issue debentures repayable over a term of twenty years in an amount estimated to be not over $40,000.00, for the purpose of building and equipping a two room addition to the South Courtice School, subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board and of the Ontario Department of Education. 63-11B-3 Moved by Councillors Down and Gibbs that Council now adjourn to the call of the Reeve. Council resumed at 4: 20 p.m. 63-118-4 Moved_ by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Budai that rule 33 be suspended for the duration of this meeting. 63-11B-5,6,7 On motion as Filed, a By-law to impose a special rate on the south half of Lot 25, Concession 3, was given its several readings, signed, sealed, and numbered 2250. 63-11B-8 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that the account for damage to cattle owned by Sidney Cornish be deleted from the accounts to be paid for the month of October. 63-11B-9 Moved by Councillors DotitiFn and Budai that accounts for the month of October, 1963, listed herewith, be paid: Salaries 1 - 15 1,2'56. 21 16 - 31 „ 1,737.01 Welfare 11999.41 General 26, ,78 .8J+ Roads 48, 613.49 Paylists 1 - 15 2,092.75 16 - 31 2,215. 30 Special Account 4 11449.99 Special Account 85,7680- . 2J+ 63-11B-10 Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that Geo. L . Totten, Consulting Engineer for this Township be instructed to prepare s plans and specifications for the completion of Westmore St. in Plan 632., as a paved street suitable for use as a sub-division collector street. 63-11B-11 Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to apply for approval of a Winter Works project in the amount of $51000.00. 63-11B-12 Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that J . A. Hoskin, Dog Control Officer, be authorized to call on residents who, according to M Township' s records, have not paid the 1963 Dog tax, and to lay charges against those who refuse to buy licenses. 63-11B-13 Moved by Councillors Dorn and Gibbs that dinner tickets to the L.O.D.A. dinner at Port Hope on November 19th, 1963, be purchased for the Reeve and Deputy-Reeve. 63-11B-14 Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Muir that this meeting adjourn.
