Darling-ton Township Council met in the Municipal Building

on this date, all Members present, Reeve Blanchard presiding.
64-9-1 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that the minutes of
the meeting held August 20, 1964, be adopted as read.
64-9-2 Moved by Deputy ReeVe Mair and Councillor Gibbs that
Road Accounts in the amount of $18,999-33, as approved by the Roads
Committee, be approved for payment.
64-9-3 Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that all
correspondence presented to this meeting be received and filed.
64-9-4 Moved by Councillors Down and Gibbs that Rule 33 be
suspended for the duration of this meeting.
64-9_5,6 & 7 On motions as filed, a By-law to authorize a Fire
Protection Agreement with the Town of Bowmanville was given its several
readings and signed, sealed and numbered 2277.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Muir that the
following persons shall constitute a Confederation Centennial
Committee; Mr. James Lovekin, Mrs. W.H.Brown, Ylr.Garnet B. Rickard,

64-9-9 Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that the
Clerk-Administrator be authorized to purchase a filing cabinet.
64-9-10 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that the meeting
adjourn.
