Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Council
Chambers on this date , Deputy Reeve Muir presiding, all I"-embers present
except Reeve Blanchard, who was absent on County business.
65-9-1 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that the minutes of
the meeting held August 19 , 1965, be approved as read.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that all correspondence
not otherwise dealt with be received and filed.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that the Road Accounts
for the month of August 1965, in the amou.-Lit, of X54, 579- 58 , as
approved by the Road Committee, be paid.
65 Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that having reviewed
the comment expressed at a public meeting held on August 26, 1965, to
D
inform ratepayers of Council' s intention of submitting Amendment No. 3
to the Official Plan, it is resolved that Council' s intention to
submit the Amendment for approval has not been altered, and that the
Clerk is instructed to submit Amendment No. 3 to the Official Plan
for the Township of Darlington, to the Minister of Municipal Affairs
for approval.

Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Budai that Rule 33 be
suspended for the duration of this meeting.
65-9-697 8 On motions as filed, a By-law to further amend By-law 2111,
as amended, was given its several readings and signed, sealed and
numbered 2305.

6 -9-9 Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that the Department of
Highways be informed of a claim for damages submitted by Hodgins and
Morris, Solicitor for Norman J. "etcalf, and asked for advice as to
settlement of the Droblem.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Budai that the Ontario
Water f'�esources Commission be in-formed that its proposal to erect
stream gauging stations on various streams in the Township is approved.
by this Council, and that permission to erect structures suggested in
a letter dated August 26, 1965, is given, subject to approval of each
location having been obtained from the Township Roads Department before
the installation is made, and that it is agreed that any changes in
location made necessary by roads construction be made at the expense
of the Coin-mission.
