Darlington Tawnship Council met in the 14unicipal Building on
this date, all members present except Reeve Blanchard, who was absent
on Counties business, Deputy Reeve Muir in the chair.
65-123-1 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that the minutes of the
meeting held December 2nd, 1965, be adopted as read.
65-12B-2 Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that accounts for the
month of November, 1965 as listed herewith, be paid:

65-12B-3 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that a request for
authority to use abandoned gravel pits for industrial disposal
submitted by Wm. Wade, Lot 28, Concession 3, be deferred for further
consideration by the 1966 Council at its January session.
65-123-4 Moved by Councillors Down and Gibbs that this Council instructs
the Clerk to advise the Canadian Pacific Railway Co. that it does not
object to the removal of the station building at Burketon Station, but
suggests that some type of open shelter be placed on the site for the
convenience of passengers.
65-1-123-5 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Doi-ra that, H. A. Barron is
hereby appointed to the Board of INIemorial Hospital, BovTmanville, for the
year 1966.
05-1-23-o" Moved by Councillors Budai and Gibbs that the Clerk be
instructed to apply for approval of a Winter Works Project in the
amount of 34,000.00.

for care of Toi�,m- shiD Dumps with A. Crawford be continued through the
month of January 1966 at the present rate.
65-12B-8 Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that, subject to the
approval of the Department of Highways, the sum of 4"P6,000.00 be
transferred from Cedar Park Bridge appropriation to Culverts in various

Reeve and Clerk be authorized to arrange the annual staff banquet.
65-123-10 Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that the Central Lake
Ontario Conservation Authority be informed that it is the intention of
this Council to maintain the roads adjacent to the proposed Long Sault
Conservation Area to at least their present standards.
