By-Law 80-155 By-Law 80-155 being a by-law to allow an encroachment onto Church Street in the Geographic Town of Bowmanville in the County of Durham now in the Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham By-Law 80-156 By-Law 80-156 being a by-law to amend By-Law 79-1, being a by-law for the regulating of parking, standing or stopping on highways under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle and that the said by-laws be now read a first time. Resolution #C-80-1453 Moved by Councillor Barr, seconded by Councillor Clarke THAT By-Law 80-155 be tabled until the solicitor has had time to place comments before Council. "CARRIED" Councillor Barr requested that the spelling of Carolyne Street be checked and corrected to read Caroline Street. 1- Resolution ¢C-80-1455 Moved by Councillor Prout, seconded by Councillor Clarke Parking THAT it be recoirmended to Council that a by-law be submitted to on amend the parking by-law to include two hour parking limit on Queen Street Queen Street as at the west end. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-80-1458 Moved by Councillor Prout, seconded by Councillor Holliday Kinsmens THAT the request of the Kinsmens Club as per their letter dated Club November 21 1980 regarding Kinsmens Week, December 7 - 13 1980 be approved in accordance with Town policy. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-80-1459 Moved by Councillor Hobbs, seconded by Councillor Prout 1980 THAT the matter of operations of the 1980 budget Budget be referred to the incoming Council. "CARRIED„ His Worship Mayor Rickard addressed Council and thanked them for their co-operation throughout their term of office. He also thanked members of staff for the assistance they have rendered Council in the decision making process. Councillor Hobbs expressed good wishes for the incoming Council.
