Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to
Council the following:
1. THAT Report CD-39-00 be received for information; and
2. THAT a copy of Report CD-39-00 be forwarded to the Bowmanville Business Centre for their
information.
The following pertinent statistical information relates to Parking Enforcement activities for the month of
June 2000 and is provided herein for the information of Committee and Council.

Subject: SCHEDULE OF COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to
Council the following:
1, THAT Report CD-41-00 be received;
2, THAT the schedule of Council and Committee meetings be amended by cancelling the General
Purpose and Administration Committee meeting scheduled to be held on October 23, 2000 and
the Council meeting scheduled to be held on October 30, 2000; and
3. THAT any special meetings required during this timeframe be at the call of the Chair.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
At Council's inaugural meeting in December 1997, the Council and Committee meeting schedule for the
term of Council was approved by Council. This schedule indicates that a Committee meeting will be held
on October 23, 2000, followed by a Council meeting on October 30, 2000. It is suggested that both of
these meetings be cancelled. There are no public meetings scheduled for the Committee meeting of
October 23. Should it me necessary for a meeting during this timeframe, It will be held at the call of the
Chair.
