SUBJECT:
AMENDMENT TO APPOINTMENT BY-LAW
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended to Council, the following;
1. THAT Report CD-26-00 be received; and
2. THAT Schedule "A" to By-law 99-152, being a By-law to Appoint a By-law Enforcement
Officer, be amended to replace the list of Park Wardens with a new list of current officers.
BACKGROUND:
In October 1999, Council passed a By-law appointing three Park Wardens as Parking Enforcement
Officers to deal with parking problems on the Municipal roads leading into the Darlington Provincial
Park Since the passage of the By-law, the staff listed in Schedule "A" have been reassigned and four
new officers are currently employed. In order for these officers to enforce the By-law, it is necessary to
have them appointed by Municipal law.

BY-LAW 00-
Being a by-law to amend By-law 99-152 being a by-law to appoint a By-law
Enforcement Officer
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
deems it desirable to amend By-law 99-152:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington enacts as follows:
1. Schedule "A" of By-law No. 99-152 is deleted in its entirety and replace with
the following:
DARLINGTON PROVINCIAL PARK WARDENS:
1. Shane Cutler
2. William Kemp
3. Murray Matheson
4. Andrew Sedore
