Chairman, Ann Cowman and Members of the Community Services Committee
Fire Department Report
1. Hall No. 2 Newcastle fire station area, alterations and work is
completed by all contractors. The volunteers are hoping to get a
crew together to complete the interior and exterior pain-Ling.
Apartment upstairs - Plumbing, heating, electrical and carpentry
work is completed. Require information on decorating (paint paper) ,
lease of apartment.
Work's Department have graded the yard and gravelled area.
2. On the electrical panels, sub-division Waverly Rd. area. Held
meetings with Ontario Hydro Inspection Branch, Morley Watson
Bowmanville Public Utilities, Canadian Standards Association and
have been assured there will be a decision as -to the necessary
action to be taken.
