COMMENTS:
Loss to Buildings and Contents shows a decrease over July.
August 31 statment from Treasurer J. Descent shows the fire
department is within the 1975 approvied budget in all accounts.
It would appear a decision has been reached on the location
and building for a firehall for the Village of Newcastle,
subject to approval from the Ontario liunicipal Board.
Captain Robert Smith has tendered his resignation from the
fire department.$ effective Sept. 1, 1975.
Fire Department personnel has reached a point which could
present a very dangerous situation in the event of a major
fire or emergency.
