By-Law# - Report#: File#: B.Olei5e004 Subject: CANADIAN TIRE SITE SERVICING AGREEMENT, DEV 89-93, 'CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE', STORM SEWER SYSTEM Recommendations: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. THAT Report WD-43-95 be received; 2 . THAT the Director of Public Works be authorized to issue a 'Certificate of Acceptance' for the storm sewer system constructed in association with the Canadian Tire Site Servicing Agreement, (from Highway 2 southerly to the outfall south of Manhole 30) . REPORT 1.0 ATTACHMENTS No. 1: Key Map 2.0 BACKGROUND 2 . 1 On July 29, 1991, the former Town of Newcastle entered into a siteplan agreement with 829426 Ontario Inc. to develop a site located in Bowmanville. The site required storm sewer servicing which runs external to the site along designated easements to the south (Attachment No. 1) . 007 REPORT NO. : WD-43-95 PAGE 2 2 .2 The Storm Sewer System was completed and a 'Certificate of Completion' was issued dated October 29, 1992 . The system was placed on a two (2 ) year maintenance period which expired on October 29, 1994. The works were subsequently re-inspected and all deficiencies have now been corrected to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works. 2.4 It is now appropriate to issue a 'Certificate of Acceptance' for the Storm Sewer System. The agreement provides for this certificate to be issued by the Director of Public Works, subject to the approval of Council. Respectfully submitted, Reviewed by, Stephen A. Vokes, P.Eng. W. H.
