MEETING OF MARCH 22, 1982.
REPORT NO. WD-26-82.
SUBJECT: 1982 ROAD MAINTENANCE PROGRAM.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended:
1 . That this report be received, and;
2. That Staff be authorized to advertise tenders
for the Supply and Delivery of Emulsified Asphalt
Patching Material (Cold Mix) to the Town, in
accordance with the 1982 Budget allocation for
this item.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
Each year the Public Works Department tenders for the supply and del-
ivery of Emulsified Asphalt Patching Material (Cold Mix) for the annual ,
estimated, requirements for road patching.
The patching and repair of potholes and roads generally is a contin-
uous activity in the spring of the year. In an attempt to obtain the
most competitive prices available, Staff would like the authority to
proceed with the advertising of tenders.
