ITEM: WD-31-81.
DATE: February 12, _1981 .
SUBJECT: Equipment Replacement - Air Compressor.
BACKGROUND:
The existing stationary air compressor is located in the Hampton
Works Building and is a 1963, 3 h.p. Gilbarco model which has
now become obsolete through age and capacity.
REPORT:
The Air Compressor is required to provide adequate air for items
such as wrenches, sprayers, washers, etc.
Attached are four (4) quotations in respect of a replacement
compressor, each of which make an allowance for trade-in value.
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT the quotation of Pineridge Automotive Supply for the supply
of One (1) Devilbiss 2-stage Model VAV5060 Air Compressor in the
amount of $2,420. 00 (Tdo Thousand Four Hundred and Twenty Dollars)
Plus Ontario Provincial Sales Tax, be accepted.
