Recommendation:

THAT Report WD-73-8I (May 19, 1981) be adopted and, further, that
any overrun in the Budget allowance, relevant to Dust Control, be
accommodated in the Winter Maintenance portion of the Budget.

The foregoing was puaae6 at the Council Meeting of June l, 1981,
It was indicated in Report WD-73-81 that there umuIJ be an (est-
imated) overrm1 ot $21,597. 50� relevant to Dust Control and, during
debate on June l` 1981, it was suggested that this amount could be
obtained from Account 0o. 7210 (Winter Maintenance) .
The actual expenditure for Winter Maintenance 6ua, thus for, been
V225,931. 00` from o total Budget Allowance of $350,000. OO, leaving
an unexpended buIuuoe of $124 ,068, 00. Projected costs for Winter
Maintenance duciog November and December, 1981, are estimated at
$100,000. 00' It is, therefore, felt that any overrun relevant to
Dust Control- can be accommodated from either Winter Maintenance or /
through the overall Budget.
