SUBJECT: Stmmerfield Court, Bowmanville (Drainage) .
BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Committee, at the P,leeting of September 2, 1980,
considered Report No. WD-108-80 (copy attached) and, by Resolution
# W-214-80, referred the subject matter for a further report rel-
ative to an easement.
REPORT:
On September 18, 1980, I met with the property owners of No. 15
Sumnerfield Court and, in discussing the possibility of acquiring
an easement for that portion of the existing storm sewer, the
property owner stated: " When the Town is prepared to take
remedial action regarding the drainage ditch over our property,
then we will grant the easement".
CONCLUSION:
There are various courses of action which could be considered in
this case and the Committee may wish to discuss the matter and
make a recommendation to Council.
