SUBJECT: Public Works Department Equipment.
Quotation for Underbody Plow(s)
BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Department has several Underbody Plows which have
required items replaced on same over the past years.
On numerous occasions, restorations and repairs have been done
and at the present time, apart from the lifting device, hanging
frame and hydraulics, the underbody plows again require attention.
REPORT:
There is only one manufacturer from whom the necessary equipment
is available, and his quotation has been sought and is attached
hereto.
RECOIII DATION:
THAT four (4) Mouldboards, Hoods, Drive Frames and Trip Arms be
acquired from Valley Blades Limited, for the existing Model V 132
Underbody Plows, at a cost of $1,250. 00 (One Thousand TWo Hundred
and Fifty Dollars) per unit, plus tax.
