SUBJECT: Mosport Park (Fence) Lots 32 & 33,
Concessions 7 & 8, former Clarke.
BACKGROUND:
The attached correspondence relative to the destruction of a
fence in the subject location, was referred by Council to this
Committee for consideration.
REPORT:
This matter was reviewed by Staff and, prior to August 22, 1.980,
a checkerboard sign was erected, as per the letter from Mr. &
Mrs. J. Marvin.
With regard to the request for guide rails, it should be noted
that the criteria for establishing the validity of the need for
same stipulates that they are only required where an embankment
is considered to be dangerous; at the particular intersection
under discussion, the criteria is not met and, therefore, is not
recommended.
RECD' MC, ATION:
RIAT the correspondence from Mr. & Mrs. Marvin relevant to the
intersection in Lots 32 & 33, Concessions 7 & 8, former Township
of Clarke, be acknowledge and that the parties be advised of the
action taken in this matter.
