SUBJECT: Lots 10 & 11, Concession 10, former
Darlington. (Mr. & Mrs. R. Ashton) .
BAMMOUND:
Attached is a request that the road allowance in Lots 10 & 11,
Concession 10, former Township of Darlington, be reclassified.
REPORT:
The road allowance in question is geographically located in Lots
10 & 11, Concession 10, Darlington and is the Boundary Road
between the Town of Newcastle and the Township of Scugog. Under
the Boundary Agreement with the Township of Scugog, the latter
municipality maintains the subject road; however, the present
status of same, according to By-Law 2111, is 'Unimproved' .
RECOMvENDATION:
THAT, conditional upon the Township of Scugog being in agreement
with the reclassification of the Boundary Road in Lots 10 & 11,
Concession 10, former Darlington, consideration be given to the
requested reclassification from 'Unimproved' to Class 'A' , and
By-Law 2111 be amended accordingly.
