SUBJECT: Estate of Lena Mae Irons,
Mary Street, Burketon.
BACKGROUND:
Earlier this year, a request was received that Mary Street, Burketon,
be closed and conveyed; it was discovered, however, that such action
would land-lock other properties.and, thus, closure of the allowance
was not possible.
The attached data is relevant to the subject matter and is requesting
an encroachment on Mary Street, Burketon, as indicated on Reference
Plan 1OR-1056.
REPORT:
As the request for closure and conveyance would have been in contra-
vention of The Act, and was thus denied, authorization for an
encroachment may now be considered.
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT permission for the encroachment of
certain buildings comprising the Irons
Estate, as defined on Plan IOR-1056, be
granted, in accordance with the recomm-
endation in Report WD-101-80, and,
further, that the appropriate By-Law
be passed.
