SUBJECT: PARKING: North side of King Street (Veltri)
between Division & George Streets,
Bowmanville.
BACKGROUND:
On July 3, 1980, Council did not adopted Item 11 of the Report of
the Public Works Committee (Meeting of June 26, 1980) but instead
passed Resolution # C-80-931, as follows:

REPORT:
By-Law 79-1, for regulation of Parking, Standing and Stopping, pro-
vides for metered parking in the subject area.
In accordance with Resolution # C-80-931, Staff have reviewed the
relevant area of King Street, together with other sections, and
attached is a report on same; it is felt that Committee and Council
may wish to take the entire area into consideration, as detailed.
RECOMMENDATION:
1. THAT parking meters be installed on King Street, both
sides, between George and Ontario Streets.
2. THAT one-hour time limitations be effected for parking
on King Street, between Ontario Street and Liberty Street.
3. THAT parking meters be installed on King Street, between
Division and George Streets, in accordance with By-Law
79-1.
