Dear Mr. McIlroy:
On Friday, May 2, 1980 I met with Councillor
Keith Barr, Mr. C.F. Stephens of Canadian Transport
Commission and D.P. O' Sullivan of CP Rail concerning the
Lakeshore Road crossing and the CPR railway track in the
old township of Clarke.
I was approached by concerned citizens in
this area to investigate the possibility of installing
signal crossings. As it turns out, the support of the
municipality is strongly required.
In this light, would the Town consider
completing the CTC application form which will be
forwarded to you by Mr.C. Stephens to the resultant
end of signals at this crossing.
Waiting to hear from you, i remain,
Yours sincerely,
i
